About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Database / SQL Engineer with 24 years of experience to manage, maintain, and optimize our databases. You will work with the development and data teams to ensure our data systems are efficient, secure, and scalable. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity. Monitor database systems for performance, reliability, and security. Create and manage database structures (tables, views, indexes, etc.). Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and bugs. Support data migration, backup, and recovery tasks. Collaborate with developers and analysts to understand data needs. Document database processes and best practices. Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. 24 years of experience working with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle). Strong SQL skills and experience with writing complex queries. Good understanding of database design, normalization, and indexing. Experience with performance tuning and query optimization. Familiarity with database security and backup procedures. Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc.) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
