Job Description

Job Summary:

The QC Engineer will be responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, and components. This role ensures that products meet the required specifications, standards, and customer expectations before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming mechanical components and sub-assemblies for dimensional and visual accuracy.
Conduct in-process and final inspections of machine assemblies.
Prepare and maintain QC documentation such as inspection reports, deviation notes, and quality checklists.
Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective actions.
Ensure assembly processes comply with internal quality standards and ISO procedures.
Use measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Dial Indicators, etc.
Collaborate with the production and design team for quality improvements.
Support root cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
Participate in internal audits and support external quality inspections if required.

Skills Required:

Good understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T.
Hands-on experience with quality inspection tools and equipment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and documentation skills.
Basic understanding of machine tools and assembly processes.
