Job Description

As a sharp and analytical QA Engineer, your role will involve analyzing project requirements to identify edge cases and inconsistencies early. You will be responsible for creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases, covering functional, regression, UI/UX, performance, and cross-platform testing for web and mobile applications. Your investigative skills will be crucial as you thoroughly investigate bugs, replicate issues, and suggest root causes. Collaboration with developers and designers is key to ensuring that issues are well-understood and resolved promptly. Thinking from an end-user perspective will help you uncover potential usability issues, while continuously refining test processes and recommending improvements will be part of your routine. The analytical thinking skills you'll need for this role include the ability to break down complex features into testable parts, logical reasoning to identify problem areas quickly, a data-driven approach to identifying bugs and performance bottlenecks, and curiosity to explore "what if" scenarios that uncover hidden issues. In terms of must-have skills, a strong foundation in manual testing is essential, with automation skills considered a definite plus. Excellent communication and reporting skills, along with a detail-oriented mindset and problem-solving approach, will be crucial for success in this role. Familiarity with tools like Jira, Postman, BrowserStack, as well as knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies, are necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience with API testing, familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium and Appium, understanding of basic SQL queries or database structures, and knowledge of usability testing principles. Joining this team will provide you with the opportunity to work in an environment that values your ideas and feedback, offering exposure to a wide range of industries and real-world applications. There is room for growth into Automation QA or QA Lead roles, supported by a collaborative and supportive work culture. Benefits include paid sick time, paid time off, and the job type is full-time. A Bachelor's degree is preferred for education qualifications, and at least 1 year of total work experience is preferred. The work location is in person.,
