QA Manual Test - Engineer

As a Manual Tester at Iris Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web applications through meticulous testing practices. Your responsibilities will include: - Analyzing user stories, product requirements, and acceptance criteria to design and develop comprehensive test cases. - Writing medium complexities SQL queries for data validation purposes. - Conducting manual testing of web application features across various functionalities and user flows. - Identifying, reproducing, documenting, and reporting software defects using a bug tracking tool like Jira. - Participating in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions to provide valuable testing insights and feedback. - Collaborating with developers to understand code changes and ensure proper regression testing. - Staying updated on the latest manual testing methodologies and best practices to contribute to a culture of quality. - Advocating for testing throughout the development process and promoting continuous improvement. - Preferred experience in Data Migration Testing and knowledge of Gherkin format for test case creation. - Familiarity with Agile methodology, its processes, and ceremonies. - Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Shift timing: 1 PM IST - 10 PM IST Qualifications required for this role include proficiency in Manual Testing, Web Testing, API Testing, Test cases creation, SQL, STLC, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of Cucumber BDD is considered a good-to-have skill.
