QA Intern

You will join the Quality Assurance team at Setoo Solution as a QA Intern, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the software applications meet high-quality standards and function as intended. Your responsibilities will include developing and executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, documenting test results, and collaborating with the team to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your role will provide you with hands-on experience in software testing, bug reporting, automation tools, and quality assurance practices. You will have the opportunity to learn and apply industry best practices in software testing methodologies and processes, including different types of testing such as functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, performance, and API testing. To excel in this role, you should have a basic understanding of software testing methodologies, familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA processes, and knowledge of testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, Postman/Rest Assured, and JIRA. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential qualities for this position. This internship is a 6-month contract with the potential for full-time employment based on performance. You will receive a stipend of 6,000.00 per month and work on a day shift schedule from Monday to Friday. Basic knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python would be advantageous for this role.
