Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer – Fresher
Experience: 0–1 year
Location: Mohali
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role
We’re looking for a QA fresher who is eager to learn and has a good eye for detail. You’ll help test web and mobile applications, identify issues, and ensure the final product meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
• Identify bugs and report them clearly with proper documentation
• Work with the development team to understand requirements
• Assist in preparing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Re-test resolved issues to ensure proper fixes
• Help with basic functional, usability, regression, and compatibility testing
• Learn and follow QA processes and best practices

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of software testing concepts
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to write clear test cases
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Familiarity with SDLC and STLC

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of tools like JIRA, TestRail, or Postman
• Understanding of automation basics (Selenium, Java, or Python)
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Certification in software testing is a plus
