QA Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain

  automation frameworks

  for web, API, and mobile applications.
• Create and execute

  automated test scripts

  using tools like

  Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or TestNG

  .
• Develop

  API automation

  using tools such as

  Postman

  ,

  REST Assured

  , or

  Katalon Studio

  .
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  using

  Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions

  .
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure test coverage and quality standards.
• Perform

  regression, smoke, performance, and security testing

  as required.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using tools like

  JIRA

  or

  Azure DevOps

  .
• Analyze automation test results, troubleshoot issues, and maintain test suites.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and testing strategies.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and advocate for best automation and testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience

  in QA automation and software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as

  Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright

  .
• Good understanding of

  Java, Python, or JavaScript

  for automation scripting.
• Experience with

  API testing

  and automation (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
• Experience in setting up and maintaining

  CI/CD automation pipelines

  .
• Familiarity with

  BDD frameworks

  like

  Cucumber

  or

  SpecFlow

  .
• Sound knowledge of

  Agile/Scrum

  methodologies and

  SDLC/STLC

  .
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  cloud-based testing

  (AWS Device Farm, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of

  performance testing tools

  (JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling).
• Exposure to

  containerization

  and

  DevOps tools

  (Docker, Kubernetes).
• QA certifications (e.g.,

  ISTQB

  ) are an added advantage.
