QA Automation Tester

As an Automation Engineer at the company, your role will involve designing and developing automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks, reduce manual intervention, and enhance site reliability and operational efficiency. You will also be responsible for automating site monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to improve system reliability. Additionally, you will need to send reports, analyze automation results, and provide actionable insights for system improvements. Building custom tools and utilities to address specific SRE challenges will be part of your responsibilities, along with collaborating with the SRE/DevOps/Support team to enhance incident response times and reduce system downtime. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop automation scripts and tools to streamline tasks - Automate site monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes - Send reports, analyze automation results, and provide actionable insights - Build custom tools and utilities for specific SRE challenges - Collaborate with the team to improve incident response times and reduce system downtime Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field - 4+ years of automation and testing experience - Knowledge of Python/Perl Scripting or any scripting language - Good Knowledge in monitoring and observability tools such as OpenSearch, Kibana (ELK Stack), Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace - Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions in automation - Experience in designing test strategy, writing automation scripts to test REST API and UI - Excellent coding skills in C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and willing to work as a team to meet the team and individual goals on time - Familiarity with data visualization, alerting mechanisms, and SAP Commerce Cloud is highly advantageous,
