Job Summary

QA Lead

Role & responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers (manual & automation).
• Define comprehensive

  test strategies, test plans, and test cases

  based on business and technical requirements.
• Drive

  functional, regression, integration, API, UI, and performance testing

• Develop, maintain, and optimize

  automation frameworks

  (if applicable).
• Ensure proper

  defect tracking, prioritization, and closure

  through tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to ensure clarity of requirements and smooth release cycles.

Required Skills and Qualification

• 9+ years of experience

  in Software Testing, with at least

  2-4 years in a Lead role

  .
• Strong experience in

  test planning, execution, and QA process management

  .
• Hands-on expertise in

  Automation Testing

• Solid understanding of

  SDLC

  ,

  STLC

  , and defect management.
• Experience working in

  Agile/Scrum

  environments.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as

  JIRA, TestRail, Postman, Selenium, API tools

  , etc

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of API testing (RestAssured, Postman, Karate, or similar) to validate mobile backend services.
• Knowledge of mobile security testing and compliance best practices.
• Experience with mobile performance testing & monitoring (Firebase Performance, Crashlytics, Xcode Instruments, Android Profiler).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for mobile app deployments.
