Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing scalable backend systems, working with healthcare data standards, and building APIs and data pipelines that support clinical and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust Python-based applications and services.
Build and optimize data pipelines for healthcare data ingestion, transformation, and analytics.
Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems including EHRs, HL7/FHIR interfaces, and other healthcare platforms.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, product managers, and QA engineers.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage applications.
Maintain documentation and support deployment in production environments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

36 years of professional experience in Python development.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
Experience with frameworks like Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, or HIPAA compliance.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Proficiency in working with APIs, microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
