Python Developer

You are a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in REST API development, cloud-native application design, and SQL. Your responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs using Python frameworks. You will build and maintain cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Writing efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code following best practices is crucial. You will optimize SQL queries and interact with relational databases for data storage and retrieval. Collaboration with DevOps, QA, and product teams is essential to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensuring performance, scalability, and security of the application components is a key aspect of your role. Your proficiency in Python (3+ years of experience preferred) is a must-have skill. You should have strong experience in developing and consuming REST APIs. Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures and services (AWS/Azure/GCP) is required. A solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) is necessary. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is considered a plus. It would be beneficial if you have experience with asynchronous programming in Python (e.g., asyncio, FastAPI) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Knowledge of API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth2 or JWT is desirable. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is also advantageous.
