Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse and understand existing Python Test automation scripts. • Optimize and refactor automation code for better performance and maintainability. • Utilize GitHub Copilot to generate, refine, and improve automation scripts. • Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to ensure robust test coverage. • Document test cases, frameworks, and automation strategies.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3 years of experience in Python Test automation. • Hands-on experience with Python testing. • Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices. • Experience using GitHub Copilot for code generation and optimization. • Proficiency in test reporting, debugging, and execution. • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.). • Good understanding of XPath, CSS selectors, API testing, and database validation. • Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab). • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, etc.). • Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
