Position: Purchase Engineer

Qualificaiton: Diploma/BE / B. Tech - Mechanical / Plastic

Job Location: Changodar, Ahmedabad

Experience: 6 Month - 3 years

Joining: Immediately

Industry: Injection moulding machine/Plastic Manufacutring

Salary: Up to 30 k Per Month

Managing the procurement of materials and components, evaluating and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring quality and timely delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of procurement processes and software, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and project teams to meet technical and operational requirements, all while ensuring cost efficiency and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and develop potential suppliers, establishing and maintaining strong, long-term supplier relationships. 

• Procurement Process:

• Manage the entire procurement process, from requisitions and purchase orders to logistics and distribution arrangements. 

• Technical Evaluation:

• Review and analyze technical specifications for materials and components to ensure they meet engineering requirements. 

• Negotiation:

• Negotiate favorable prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers. 

• Cost Optimization:

• Conduct cost analysis and implement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality. 

• Quality Assurance:

• Monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance with quality standards, and resolve any quality-related issues. 

• Inventory Control:

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the timely availability of necessary materials and components. 

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with engineering, project management, and production teams to understand and align with material requirements. 

• Market Analysis:

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and pricing dynamics.
