JOB Summary - Lead end-to-end execution of medium-to-large EPC projects, ensuring delivery within schedule, cost, quality, safety, and contractual requirements while managing multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
Responsibilities : - Lead overall execution of EPC projects from award to handover, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, cost, quality and HSE requirements
- Prepare and drive project execution plan, baseline schedule, cost forecasts, resource plans and risk mitigation strategies
- Coordinate engineering deliverables across disciplines and ensure design alignment with client specifications and project objectives
- Drive procurement interfaces approve requisitions, monitor long-lead items, resolve vendor issues, and support expediting/logistics
- Oversee construction planning and site execution through coordination with construction managers, contractors and HSE/QAQC teams
- Ensure timely resolution of technical, commercial and interface issues across engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Conduct project reviews, progress reporting, dashboard updates, and present status to management and clients
- Manage client, consultant and regulatory interfaces, ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory requirements
- Evaluate and control changes, variations, claims and contractual risks in alignment with contracts and finance teams
- Monitor commissioning readiness and support pre-commissioning/commissioning to ensure smooth handover to operations
Technical and Industry Experience:
- 10 15 years of experience managing full-cycle EPC projects in Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Specialty Chemicals, or Water/Wastewater Treatment
- Proven exposure to FEED and EPC execution phases engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning & commissioning
- Demonstrated experience in developing and controlling project execution plans, master schedules, budgets, resource plans and risk registers
- Hands-on experience working with multidisciplinary engineering teams (process, mechanical, piping, E&I, civil, automation etc.)
- Strong interface management with procurement, contracts, logistics, QA/QC, HSE, construction management and commissioning teams
- Experience managing subcontractors, fabrication yards, OEM vendors, and construction contractors
- Familiarity with EPC contract forms (FIDIC or equivalent), change orders, claims and client/stakeholder reporting
- Exposure to statutory/regulatory compliance, HAZOP/HAZID, quality and safety procedures relevant to O&G/chemical sectors
Skills & Requirements : - Bachelors/master s degree in chemical or equivalent.
- Strong project planning, cost control and schedule management using Primavera/MS Project
- Excellent stakeholder management client, PMC, vendors, regulatory bodies and internal functions
- Strong commercial and contractual acumen in EPC environment
- Effective risk identification, mitigation and decision-making skills
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams under time-critical project phases
- High proficiency in project documentation, reporting, and review governance
- Willingness to travel to sites, vendor works and client locations as required
