Job Summary:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role involves technical design, stakeholder coordination, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring all project objectives are achieved within scope, time, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing engineering projects.

Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.

Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to ensure timely project delivery.

Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays.

Support project budgeting and cost control activities.

Conduct site visits to review installation, construction, or commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders for project updates and approvals.

Prepare and present technical and progress reports.

Continuously seek process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related Engineering field.

2–5 years of experience in project engineering or project management.

Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).

Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and project lifecycles.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with [industry-specific software or process].

Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.).

Experience managing budgets and contracts.
