Program Officer

Position: Program Officer [FOR CANDIDATES IN MUMBAI ONLY]

Location: Mumbai, India

Relevant Sectors: Program Management; Gender; Youth; Masculinity

What you will do:

1] Program Implementation

- Engage with Mumbai based colleges for the mobilization of underprivileged youth

- To interact with young people, inspire them to be Change-makers and Gender Advocates

- To develop an engagement strategy for building a community of young people

- Organize trainings in Masculinity and Gender and Active Citizenship

2] Documentation

- Write short reports

- Stories of Change

- Data compilation in Excel

3] Communications

- Find messages and videos of interest to youth

- Form What’s App Groups and engage them with information

Skills and Qualifications:

- A graduate in Social Work or Social Sciences

- Computer skills, especially Excel and Internet savvy

- Commitment to fight for a social cause

- Ease of communication in Marathi and/or Hindi and English

- Good English written communication skills

- 1 year experience of taking trainings and managing programs

Selection Process:

Salary:

- According to Social Work college scales, experience and educational qualifications.
