Power BI Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Engineer with over 5 years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, and analytics. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Power BI, strong data modeling skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align reporting solutions with business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create and optimize data models in Power BI to ensure accuracy, scalability, and performance.
• Implement DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support analytical requirements.
  Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to align BI solutions with project goals.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance with client standards.
• Provide end-user training and documentation for delivered solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall experience in Business Intelligence.
• Strong proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service (workspace management, sharing, security).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data harmonization principles.
• Experience with SQL for data extraction and transformation.
• Familiarity with data integration from multiple sources (databases, APIs, flat files, etc.).
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Data Factory, Synapse) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional and client teams.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
