Job Description

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, optimizing, and maintaining PostgreSQL database systems. Working closely with developers and data teams, you will ensure high performance, scalability, and data integrity. Your key responsibilities will include developing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions, optimizing query performance and database indexing, managing backups, replication, and security, monitoring and tuning database performance, as well as supporting schema design and data migrations. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 12 years of experience with strong hands-on experience in PostgreSQL. Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL scripting is required. Experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing is essential. Familiarity with logical replication, partitioning, and extensions is a plus. Exposure to tools like pgAdmin, psql, or PgBouncer will be beneficial for this role.,
