Job Description

Responsibilities

Translate application storyboards and use cases into technical solutions
Build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable database code
Understand the Database and table structures currently followed in the program and make the appropriate changes around them.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality and, automatization

Skills & Qualification

Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
Previous experience working as a PL SQL developer.
Innovative thinker with strong problem-solving skills

Technical

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL. Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL
Hands on experience on creating and modifying the database objects like Triggers, Procedures, Functions and Packages
Performance Tuning - Optimizing database performance by tuning SQL queries and PL/SQL code
Collections, Types
Indexes
Should have exposure to Unix/Linux and shell scripting
