Mak Controls and Systems P Ltd, established in 1973, specializes in manufacturing Aviation Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Based in India, we have evolved in the design, development, and manufacturing of a wide range of hi-tech GSEs like Ground Power Units, Air Starter Units, Air Conditioning Units, and more. Our products are known for their design, reliability, and long economic life, meeting the needs of prestigious defense projects and specific aviation requirements. All our designs are developed in our Government-approved R&D center in India, with manufacturing facilities located in India and the USA.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a PLC Programmer located in Coimbatore. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining PLC software for GSE systems. The role includes programming and configuring PLCs, performing system testing and troubleshooting, and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support and training to clients, as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Qualification B.E.EEE with minimum 4y experience as PLC Programmer.
Experience in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting
Proficiency in SCADA Siemen like application
Experience in Communication protocol like RS232, RS485 Modbus TCP/IP Ethernet.
Implementation of electrical and control system consisting of PLC, HMI, motors, sensors, etc.,
Must be experienced in database connection like SQL server. Visual basic scripting.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
Experience in the aerospace or related industry is a plus
