As an Engineer II - QA at Contentstack, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the quality of our software products. Your main responsibilities will include owning all assigned tasks, writing test cases and scenarios based on features to be tested, detecting defects and identifying steps to reproduce them, as well as finding and filing defects in the defect tracking tool. Additionally, you will be expected to provide timely and accurate reporting of project status, escalate issues when necessary, and perform manual testing & script automation steps on written test cases. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work with individuals across roles to understand the domain and contribute towards building the right solutions. An open mindset for learning and adapting to new roles is encouraged, as we aim for continuous improvement through feedback and skill development. To succeed in this position, you should have knowledge of Software Development and Testing Life Cycles, a solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle, and experience in both Manual and Automation testing. Hands-on experience with Selenium and the Playwright Framework using JavaScript is essential, as well as familiarity with API automation using Postman and JavaScript scripting.
