Job Description: As an Intern Game Programmer at Ubisoft, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with highly skilled industry professionals. Working under the guidance of Lead or Senior Programmers, you will be involved in various aspects of video game development, including gameplay, rendering, networking, physics, AI, and tools and data pipeline. You will be responsible for writing high-quality code to implement assigned modules of the game. Working within a team, you will collaborate with other members to ensure the success of the project. The ability to perform effectively under pressure is essential for this role. The ideal candidate for this position should possess strong proficiency in C/C++ programming languages and a solid foundation in computer graphics. Excellent mathematical skills are a prerequisite for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Write quality code to implement assigned game modules - Collaborate effectively with team members - Work efficiently under tight deadlines and pressure situations Required Skills/Qualifications: - Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages - Strong logical and analytical skills - Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities - Good verbal and written communication skills - Educational background in Computer Science or related field (B.E Comp, BCA, MCA, B.S or M.S) - Ability to adapt and organize work based on project requirements - Self-motivated, autonomous, and able to work both independently and as part of a team - Open to feedback and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment - Highly motivated and quick learner Added Advantage: - Knowledge of DirectX/OpenGL - Experience in AI/Physics programming Ubisoft ensures confidentiality of all applicant information in accordance with EEO guidelines.
