You should have a strong knowledge of 8-bit, 16-bit, and 32-bit microcontrollers, proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems, familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, and experience with protocols like IEC, DLMS, MODBUS. Experience with interfacing peripherals, version control systems, energy meters, and embedded system components is a plus. Additionally, a deep understanding of electronics and knowledge of PIC microcontrollers would be beneficial.
