Performance Tester

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Performance Tester with hands-on experience in K6 and Playwright to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests, integrating observability tools like New Relic and Open Telemetry, and leveraging AI tools to enhance testing efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of our applications under various load conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Design and implement performance test strategies using K6 for APIs and browser-based flows.
•       Conduct Spike, Soak, and Baseline tests to evaluate system behavior under different load conditions.
•       Integrate and monitor performance metrics using New Relic, Open Telemetry, and other observability tools.
•       Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend optimizations.
•       Automate performance test pipelines and integrate them into CI/CD workflows.
•       Utilize AI tools to enhance test coverage, anomaly detection, and result analysis.
•       Document test plans, scenarios, results, and recommendations clearly and effectively.
