Performance Test Engineer

To excel in this role, you should have extensive experience in the following areas: - Developing and maintaining performance test scripts using tools like LoadRunner, Jmeter, etc. - Monitoring and analyzing system performance using APM tools such as AppDynamics. - Demonstrating a good understanding of system architecture including web, APIs, databases, cloud, and microservices. - Proficiency in interpreting and utilizing performance metrics like response time, throughput, concurrency, CPU/memory utilization. - Strong exposure to programming languages like Python and VBscript. - Familiarity with Unix and SQL. Additionally, the following skills will be highly valued: - Experience in cloud environments, particularly AWS. - Knowledge of technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications. - Previous experience in managing performance testing for multiple projects. In this role based out of Pune, your main purpose will be to design, develop, and execute testing strategies that validate functionality, performance, and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects, continuously improving testing processes and methodologies to ensure software quality and reliability. Key Accountabilities: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Creating and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools for early defect detection. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conducting root cause analysis for identified defects and supporting developers in defect resolution. - Promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing through code reviews and collaboration with peers. - Staying informed about industry technology trends and actively contributing to the organization's technology communities to foster technical excellence.
