Oracle Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to develop and deliver Oracle-based technical solutions.
  
• Design, develop, and customize Oracle reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW components).
  
• Develop and maintain PL/SQL code, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, XML Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
  
• Support and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (depending on your stack).
  
• Work closely with functional teams to understand business processes and translate them into technical specifications.
  
• Build integrations between Oracle systems and third-party applications using APIs, Web Services, SOA, and REST/SOAP.
  
• Perform data migration and conversion using SQL*Loader, PL/SQL, or Oracle APIs.
  
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolutions to minimize business impact.
  
• Document technical designs, coding standards, test plans, and deployment procedures.
  
• Ensure compliance with change control and software development best practices.
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Forms, Reports, and Workflow Builder.
  
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12 or later) and/or Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications.
  
• Hands-on experience with RICEW development.
  
• Familiarity with Oracle Application Framework (OAF) and BI Publisher.
  
• Knowledge of Oracle APIs, open interfaces, and custom data conversion techniques.
  
• Experience in building integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs is a plus.
  
• Good understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, SCM, HR, etc.).
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
