Job Description

Job Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Woods Hospitality, ensuring seamless guest experiences, maintaining service excellence, and driving overall efficiency and profitability. The role requires strong leadership, coordination between departments, and a hands-on approach to managing staff and operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations across all departments to ensure high standards of guest service and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor occupancy levels, revenue, and costs to ensure profitability targets are met.
  • Lead, motivate, and train departmental teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and statutory regulations.
  • Oversee guest feedback and ensure timely resolution of complaints and service issues.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts and HR teams for budgeting, manpower planning, and performance reviews.
  • Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and cleanliness standards.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies to improve guest satisfaction, staff productivity, and overall profitability.
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers for quality service and timely procurement.
  • Ensure all safety, hygiene, and quality standards are strictly maintained as per hospitality norms.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Business Administration.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in hospitality operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Prior experience in resorts, hotels, or hospitality chains preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software (e.g., IDS, Opera, or similar).

Job Type: Full-time
