Description We are seeking an experienced API Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs that support our applications and services. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for various applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and optimize existing APIs for performance and scalability. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Document API specifications and maintain up-to-date documentation. Skills and Qualifications 6-16 years of experience in software development with a focus on REST APIs. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js. Experience with API frameworks like Spring Boot, Flask, or Express. Solid understanding of RESTful architecture and principles. Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman. Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
