New Product Development Engineer

Job Description: As an NPD Engineer at our company, your role will involve preparing and analyzing cost estimates for products and components, evaluating vendor quotations, and providing valuable support for procurement and pricing decisions. You will need to leverage your strong technical understanding, cost analysis skills, and collaborative abilities to work effectively with engineering, procurement, and finance teams. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare product costing and cost estimation for new and existing products. - Conduct techno-commercial evaluations of vendor offers. - Develop and maintain cost models for materials, processes, and assemblies. - Identify cost-saving opportunities through vendor development and process optimization. Qualification Required: - B.Tech in Mechanical. - 4 to 7 years of experience in the Automobile Industry. - Strong knowledge of product costing and cost estimation techniques. - Understanding of manufacturing processes and materials. - Experience in vendor development and supplier negotiations. - Analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and ERP systems. - Effective communication and coordination abilities.,
