Role & responsibilities Must Have: 4 Years of experience with MS SQL Server database (SQL Server versions 2012 through current), SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery (HA/DR) solutions such as Always On, Distributed Availability Group, Clustering, Log shipping and Replication, etc. 2 Years of experience with database performance tuning and troubleshooting Experience with Database utilities such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Reporting Services (SSRS) & SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) Experience in supporting complex Development/projects Experience in storage engineering and/or data backup engineering, including experience with data replication. The candidate needs to perform physical database management system design and build to support application development teams with application database needs in their development lifecycle along with application support, troubleshooting, performance tuning. The role expects a hybrid skill set: a combination of development skills alongside traditional database administration knowledge. Its not purely a DBA role; candidates should be able to handle database design and development aspects effectively. Experience with database monitoring solutions like Foglight, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios or Zabbix or any other tool can be considered Good to have Skills: ITIL Database management tools like MongoDB Compass, Robo 3T, MongoDB Atlas. In-depth knowledge of MongoDB architecture, including replica sets and sharding.
