As the Legal Analytics head (Senior Vice President) at AIM based in Gurugram, you will report to the Director / Managing Director and be responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts, Visualization & Reporting experts, Information Management experts, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists. Your team will handle tasks such as Business Analytics, Insight Generation, Visualization / Dashboards, Automation and Reporting, Data Strategy, Data Pipeline, Governance & Reporting, Model Development, Validation, Governance, and Documentation. It will be your responsibility to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of all work products, as well as to evaluate and refine data acquisition methods for validity, applicability, efficiency, and accuracy. Proper documentation and traceability of all project work will be essential, along with timely responses to internal and external reviews. Your role involves overseeing professional team(s) and department(s) to achieve results. You will integrate subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area, contributing to standards for others to operate. This position requires a deep understanding of how areas integrate within the sub-function and contribute to the objectives of the entire function, as well as basic commercial awareness. Effective communication and diplomacy skills are essential to guide, influence, and convince others, including colleagues in other areas and external customers. You will have full management responsibility for a team, including duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and budget approval. Your responsibilities will include acting as a Strategic Leader, providing thought leadership, overseeing Data Analytics, Insight Generation, Data Strategy, Model implementation, and Reporting activities. You will manage stakeholder relationships, communicate findings and recommendations to senior management, and stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in analytics. Developing and executing analytics strategies, managing risk, and leading a team of analytics professionals will also be key aspects of your role. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 15 years of experience in Analytics & Transformation roles, proficiency in Data Analytics tools / technologies like SQL, SAS, Python, PySpark, and Tableau, and a strong understanding of the Data & Analytics ecosystem. Experience in model execution and governance in any domain will be preferable. You should also possess excellent communication skills, the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and experience in people management. A Bachelors / Masters degree in STEM is required, with a Masters degree preferred.
