As a Data Scientist with over 5 years of experience, you will be responsible for leveraging your strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with your programming knowledge to drive hypothesis quickly through the discovery phase of projects. You will be expected to have advanced skills in statistical/programming software such as R, Python, and data querying languages like SQL, Hadoop/Hive, Scala. Additionally, you should possess hands-on experience in feature engineering, hyperparameter optimization, and producing high-quality code, tests, and documentation. Your role will involve utilizing Microsoft Azure or AWS data management tools like Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, Synapse, and Databricks. An understanding of descriptive and exploratory statistics, predictive modeling, evaluation metrics, decision trees, machine learning algorithms, optimization & forecasting techniques, and deep learning methodologies is crucial. Proficiency in statistical concepts, ML algorithms, and Agile principles is required. You will be expected to lead, manage, build, and deliver customer business results through data scientists or a professional services team. Strong communication skills are essential for sharing ideas effectively, summarizing and communicating data analysis assumptions and results. Being self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and in teams is important for success in this role. Experience in supply chain functions, AI/ML applications within CPG or Healthcare business environments, Pyomo, Mosel, truck load optimization, multi-echelon inventory optimization (MEIO), NLP, Vision, AR/VR, creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, MLOPs framework implementation, and data security on ML models would be beneficial.
