As a Tableau Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights for effective business decision-making. Your responsibilities will include: - **Dashboard Development**: - Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports that meet business requirements. - Create visually appealing and user-friendly data visualizations to effectively convey complex information. - **Data Analysis**: - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into Tableau solutions. - Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights supporting strategic decision-making. - **Data Integration**: - Integrate data from various sources into Tableau for comprehensive and accurate reporting. - Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure seamless data connectivity and integration. - **Optimization and Performance Tuning**: - Optimize Tableau workbooks and dashboards for enhanced performance and responsiveness. - Conduct regular performance tuning to improve the efficiency of Tableau reports. - **Documentation**: - Document data sources, data models, and Tableau processes to facilitate knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance. - **Training and Support**: - Provide end-users with training and support on Tableau functionality and best practices. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving Tableau-related issues. - **Collaboration**: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver effective Tableau solutions. **Required Skills**: - Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role. - Proven experience with a strong portfolio of Tableau dashboards and reports. - Proficiency in data analysis and visualization techniques. - Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Tableau Desktop and Server certification is a plus.
