Manager - Data Scientist

The role of Manager - Data Scientist requires a minimum of 6+ years of experience in NLP/GenAI/Recommender Systems, with a significant focus on developing enterprise-grade solutions. You should have expertise in handling large datasets and performing data preprocessing on cloud platforms. Your responsibilities will include developing generative AI applications, such as prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications. You should possess a strong understanding of LLM concepts and hands-on experience in utilizing LLMs for POCs and problem-solving, integrating them into the solution workflow. Additionally, you should have practical experience in building various types of recommender systems, such as content-based, collaborative filtering, or hybrid approaches. Proficiency in Python programming is essential for this role, and experience with PySpark is considered a plus. Knowledge of Azure Cloud is mandatory. Effective communication skills are crucial, as you will be required to clearly articulate data science outcomes. Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices, as well as developing/consuming RESTful API, would be advantageous. Preferred qualifications for this role include familiarity with popular recommender system-related algorithms like ALS, KNN, and LightFM. Knowledge of transformer architecture and different types of LLMs (encoder-only, encoder-decoder, and decoder-only) is desirable. Having some hands-on experience in solving NLP problems with or without GenAI would be a beneficial addition to your profile.,
