Our mission is to create high-quality, eco-conscious incense that blends traditional fragrance craftsmanship with modern branding and scalable operations , serving strong domestic demand with export potential . An Operation and Production Head in agarbatti (incense) manufacturing is responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, ensuring efficient and quality output . This role involves managing daily operations, maintaining quality control, optimizing costs, and building strong supply chains for raw materials and packaging. They also play a crucial role in team management, compliance, and potentially expanding distribution channels Experience Required: Minimum 15+ years in FMCG / Consumer Goods / Manufacturing & Distribution; (First preference: Agarbatti/Incense industry experience across manufacturing, sourcing, fragrance, packaging, and distribution. Strong FMCG leaders from adjacent categories may be considered.) Preferred candidate profile Implement and maintain quality control measures to meet market standards and ensure consistent product quality. Monitor and control production costs, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to reduce expenses. Build and manage strong relationships with suppliers for raw materials like bamboo, jigat, perfume oils, and packaging materials. Build, train, and manage a high-performing production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and compliance norms, including GST, MSME, and environmental regulations. Oversee the management of raw materials and finished goods inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste. Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of products. New Product Development: May be involved in the development of new agarbatti products, including sourcing new fragrances and materials. Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to factory licensing, GST, MSME , Pollution Control Board norms, labour laws, and packaging/product regulations. Champion ethical, transparent practices and brand integrity. Achieve target OEE , yield improvement & scrap reduction vs baseline. Improve COGS/ revenue ; deliver on-time NPD launches. OTIF 95% , distributor fill rate at/above targets; expand state coverage as per plan. Inventory turns and working-capital days within plan; zero major compliance deviations . Experience: Extensive experience in the agarbatti or incense industry, preferably with a focus on manufacturing and distribution. Technical Skills: Understanding of agarbatti manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and relevant machinery. Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business principles, including cost management, supply chain management, and P&L Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve production issues effectively. Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Process Validations : You will be responsible for validating manufacturing processes to ensure they meet quality and efficiency standards. Special Purpose Machines (SPM) : You will be involved in creating specifications for SPMs, finalizing concepts with cross-functional teams (CFT), and overseeing their installation, commissioning, and validation. Low-Cost Automation : You will implement low-cost automation solutions to improve efficiency. Process Layouts : You will be responsible for designing and optimizing process layouts. New Lines Setup : You have hands-on experience setting up new production lines. Online Troubleshooting : You will troubleshoot tooling and process-related issues on the production line. Error Proofing : You have knowledge of and experience with implementing error-proofing techniques. Hydraulics & Pneumatics : You have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Quality & Documentation Process FMEA : You have hands-on experience with Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) . Customer Audits : You have experience with customer audits, ensuring processes meet external standards. Customer PPAP : You have experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) , working with customers to approve parts. Quality Systems : You have knowledge of quality management systems like IATF and TQM , as well as Industrial Engineering and Line Balancing . Costing & Financial Knowledge Process Costing : You have knowledge and hands-on experience related to process costing, ensuring financial viability.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of Automotive, T& OH, Tractor industry experience as Should costing engineer. Working exposure to manufacturing processes of various engineering commodities (Sheet metal, Machined items, Plastic, Rubber, assemblies, etc.) experience in Plastic & sheet metal is primarily. Hands on exposure to new product development with supplier end. Technical support to vendor for process mapping, machine selection. Cost calculations for reference/target cost and negotiations for new components. Understanding of cost and drivers and independent cost calculations with minimal support. Knowledge about different machines, machines hourly rate, MHR, overheads & Profit etc. Supplier quote analysis and providing comprehensive report / negotiation dossier to Commodity team for Price negotiation discussion with Supplier. Hands on experience of cost mapping for engineering parts & assemblies. Should be able to define best suited manufacturing process, machine selection, cycle time calculations. Drawing reading, good knowledge of GD&T. Working experience of various should costing software like aPriori, Costimator, TcPCM

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 6 years of Automotive, T& OH, Tractor and Manufacturing industry experience as Sourcing engineer.
