Machine Learning Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to design and implement state-of-the-art ML models that drive real business impact. The ideal candidate has strong skills in data preprocessing, algorithm development, and deploying machine learning models at scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, clustering, NLP, recommendation systems, or computer vision tasks.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to extract insights and improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to collect relevant data and build data pipelines.
• Train, validate, and tune ML models using techniques such as cross-validation, hyperparameter optimization, and ensemble learning.
• Monitor and maintain production ML systems, ensuring performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with the latest ML research and apply relevant techniques to business problems.
• Document processes, models, and decisions clearly for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (PhD is a plus).
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms (e.g., decision trees, SVMs, neural networks, boosting).
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
• Experience with data processing tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SQL, Spark).
• Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience deploying ML models in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD best practices for machine learning.
• Experience with time-series forecasting, NLP, or computer vision projects.
• Contribution to open-source ML projects or research publications.
