Description

We are seeking an experienced Lathe Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in operating lathe machines and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality production of precision components.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on lathe machines.
Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure quality standards are met.
Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to optimize production processes.
Maintain accurate records of production data and machine operations.

Skills and Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in operating lathe machines in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
Knowledge of CNC programming is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
