As a 4G Senior System Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering innovative functionalities to customers and optimizing the next generation of Open-RAN base-station products in LTE. This role, based in India, will involve occasional travel for customer Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and live site deployments. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to support customer trials, PoCs, and live deployments. You will analyze cellular system issues reported from internal labs or observed in the field by customers and ensure product conformance to the Technology Specifications (Open RAN, 3GPP). Additionally, you will contribute to reviewing the design of new radio cellular features and challenge implemented solutions to suggest improvements. You will take ownership of features from early Proof of Concept through software implementation and release to customers. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in 3GPP Radio protocols (LTE or 5G) and a strong understanding of wireless communication theory. A product and customer-oriented mindset with a high curiosity for innovative solutions is essential. Previous experience as a system engineer, including specification definition, verification, and software development methodologies, will be beneficial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a global, multi-site environment are required. You should be willing to travel occasionally for customer PoCs and live site deployments. Fluent English and technical communication skills are a must. Hands-on capability for lab setup and testing, as well as automation skills such as Automating Test -Python, Bash, are desired.
