The candidate will have the opportunity to work within WMIS as a Java Developer closely with various teams (Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, Security and Integration) to develop solutions aligned with our overall strategy.

Responsibilities

Develop Java EE applications.

• Write well-designed, efficient code
• Diligent focus on code quality and standards.
• Zeal to learn, adapt and implement latest frameworks.
• Willingness to learn Vendor product APIs and provide fixes for the Custom Code.
• Be mindful about organizational ethics and respect data privacy.

Contribute to all phases of development life cycle

Mandatory

• • Java 8 and above
  • Spring MVC, spring boot & spring batch
  • Relational Database systems Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • UI framework like Angular 17
  • Experience designing, building and testing Java EE applications
  • Experience in developing APIs and Swagger specification
  • Maintain and develop unit tests using testing Frameworks like JUNIT
  • Practical experience with Maven, Jenkins, Git, Serena/Ansible, Sonar etc
  • Good Written and oral communication skills
  • IDEs like Eclipse/Intellij
  • Good delegation and time management skills
  • Problem-solving abilities

• Bachelors Degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience as Java Developer
