Java Full Stack Developer

As a Cognyter you will:

• Function as a major part of a cross-functional, high performing, global development team.
• Responsible for development and support of a core application of a complex product solution.
• Build, design and develop Java components in a desktop/cloud native system, with a focus on quality, performance, high availability and low latency.
• Collaborate closely with global development teams, product owners, architects and system integration engineers to identify and solve challenging problems.

For that mission youll need:

• BSc Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years hands-on experience in full-stack software development of high-performance complex systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Java ecosystem (with emphasis on Java 8 and 21).
• Strong knowledge and experience with Tomcat 8 (or newer) and/or JBoss 3 (or newer).
• Strong knowledge and experience with Web Sockets/REST/SOAP.
• Experience with concepts such as multithreading, profiling and application servers.
• Experience with Relational Databases (CRUD operations, Joins, etc.).
• Experience with software deployment containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker.
• Scripting experience (Shell, Powershell, Python).
• Experience with web development technologies, preferably Angular and NodeJS, but JavaScript, TypeScript, React are also considered a Plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively.

An Advantage

• Experience with desktop-based C# applications (and frameworks like WPF, WinForms).
• CI/CD knowledge with hands-on experience in tools like: Jenkins, Maven/ANT.
• Oracle OCA/OCP Certification (Java 8 or above).
