Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our software engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain Java applications, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver quality software that meets business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Java-based applications and services.

Understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications.

Write clean, maintainable, efficient, and reusable code.

Build and consume RESTful APIs / web services (JSON / XML) for integrations.

Use frameworks like Spring, Hibernate / JPA, and other Java EE components.

Participate in code reviews; enforce coding standards, design patterns.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging and troubleshooting.

Optimize application performance: memory use, response times, scalability etc.

Work with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (Maven / Gradle), CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams: frontend, QA, DevOps, product managers etc.

Maintain documentation: design specs, technical decisions, user guides etc.

Stay updated on Java ecosystem: new versions, frameworks, best practices.
