Job Description

Key Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in Java with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and developing scalable microservices-based architectures.
Sound knowledge of RESTful APIs, API integration, and secure service development.
Proficiency with relational databases such as Oracle, DB2, or Sybase.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Git, and build tools.
Exposure to messaging systems (e.g., JMS, TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ).
Understanding of application performance tuning, remote debugging, and JMX monitoring tools (e.g., VisualVM, JConsole).
Experience with agile development, test-driven development (TDD), and working in fast-paced environments.
Comfort with handling large-scale data and batch processing workflows.
Familiarity with design patterns, efficient code structuring, and clean architecture.

Key Attributes & Experience:

Minimum 4 years of backend development experience with Java technologies.
Track record of delivering high-quality software in complex, distributed systems.
Ability to operate independently and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot production issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Prior experience in the financial services or fintech domain is an advantage.
