IOT Senior Developer

You will be working at a fast-growing digital transformation company, Metayb, that focuses on empowering organizations to thrive in the digital-first era. By leveraging emerging technologies, Metayb aims to be a trusted global partner in delivering impactful, future-ready solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Have at least 5 years of experience in IoT application development. - Implement IoT protocols and communication standards such as Websocket, MQTT, CoAP, AMQP, BLE, Zigbee, Lora, HTTP. - Develop and optimize software for IoT devices. - Integrate Meters, RFID devices, Sensor devices. - Integrate IoT systems with enterprise systems and databases. - Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of IoT applications. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of IoT projects. - Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in the IoT industry. - Design and implement IoT architecture. - Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for IoT use cases. - Utilize time-series and NoSQL databases. - Possess deep knowledge of microservices, event-driven system design, and API design. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Experience in IoT use cases in Manufacturing domain, Logistics, Vehicle Tracking will be an added advantage. - Manage a team of developers and oversee project management. **Qualifications:** - Hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechatronics Computers Science Engineering (or equivalent). - Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in IoT/IT, with a majority in the Manufacturing domain. - Willingness to Travel: Willing to travel to Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, and South Africa as per business requirements. - Location Requirement: Based in Chennai or willing to relocate to Chennai. - Work Model: Willing to work in a hybrid work model.
