Your day at NTT DATA
The Skilled HR Administrator has solid administration experience required to support all aspects of human resources operations.This role may at times be responsible for guiding a team of administrators executing tasks related to employee onboarding, benefits administration, employee records maintenance, and HR policy implementation.The Skilled HR Administrator has a high attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and relevant in-depth understanding of HR regulations to successfully contribute to maintaining a compliant and efficient HR department.

Key responsibilities:
  • Performs data management tasks which may include employee information, job history, working experiences, dependent information, leaves records, transfers and salary progression.
  • May at time provide team leadership to HR Administrators, providing guidance, mentoring, and support as required.
  • Ensures accurate and timeous updates of the system for payroll and reports processing.
  • Responds to enquiries from employees, managers and external agencies.
  • Prepares important employee documentation inclusive but not limited to employment contracts and offer letters.
  • Prepares reports for submission to various owners to ensure that the respective systems are updated with the latest information.
  • Monitors and ensures contracts that are due for renewal are actioned before contract expiration.
  • Manages the on-boarding of new employees and conducts induction meetings with new employees.
  • Assists the HR business partners with the development of new HR services in a specific area of specialization.
  • Manages employee benefit queries and when required, escalates queries to the payroll department.
  • Provides advanced HR administration support as required.
  • Provides any other related task as required.

To thrive in this role, you need to have:
  • Solid understanding of relevant HR policies, procedures, and best practices across various areas such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Relevant understanding of labor laws, employment regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure all HR activities adhere to legal standards.
  • Solid ability to use HRIS systems and other HR-related software for efficient data management, reporting, and analytics.
  • Ability to analyze HR data to extract insights, trends, and metrics that contribute to decision-making.
  • Ability to execute strategic HR initiatives aligned with organizational goals.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex HR concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify HR challenges, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to lead HR projects from inception to completion, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, HR leadership, and external partners to achieve common goals.

Academic qualifications and certifications:
  • High School Certification or related qualification preferred.
  • Completion or working towards completion of a diploma or degree in a Human Resources field or similar is highly beneficial.

Required experience:
  • Solid relevant experience as an HR administrative assistant or HR administrator.
  • Solid relevant administrative support experience.
  • Solid experience working on HRIS software and other HR-related software tools.
  • Track record of introducing innovative solutions to streamline processes and enhance HR operations.
