Collaborating with Software/Data engineers, data scientists, product owners, and product managers, you will develop and deploy data-driven solutions that provide business value. Your responsibilities will include coding, unit testing, integration testing, and participating in the full software development life cycle. You will contribute to best practices, standards, and the technical roadmap to ensure successful project outcomes. As a Software Engineer II, Quality Management at Precisely, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure data integrity and quality. Your responsibilities will include creating scalable test automation solutions that cover API, UI, functional, regression, smoke, exploratory, end-to-end, and database testing within an Agile delivery model. You will be actively involved in testing Data Engineering solutions and developing automated test frameworks for back-end systems and applications. Specifically, you will design and create test cases for Data products in databases, focusing on applications running in Cloud environments like AWS using docker/Kubernetes. Your expertise in Continuous Integration processes, including creating and executing jobs pipeline using tools like Jenkins, will be essential. Collaboration and communication are key aspects of this role. You will participate in discussions, provide constructive suggestions, and receive feedback to enhance solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing clear, detailed user epics and stories with acceptance criteria, ensuring unambiguous documentation and communication of features. Working closely with cross-functional teams, peer code reviews, and the ability to adapt to new technologies are integral parts of this position. To excel in this role, you are expected to have at least 3 years of industry experience in Data/Software Testing, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Python, Cloud technologies like AWS, and database concepts with query optimization skills are crucial. Experience in data ETL, familiarity with geospatial data storage, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
