GCP Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance GCP data solutions using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and related GCP services.
• Build and optimize data warehousing and analytical platforms leveraging BigQuery for large-scale datasets.
• Provide technical leadership for data modernization and cloud migration projects.
• Collaborate with data science teams to enable AI/ML model deployment, feature engineering, and MLOps pipelines.
• Implement data governance, security, cost optimization, and performance tuning best practices.
• Drive architectural reviews, solution proposals, and technical documentation.
• Mentor teams and ensure adherence to cloud engineering standards.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of overall experience, with strong architecture experience on Google Cloud Platform.
• Expert-level knowledge of BigQueryquery optimization, partitioning, clustering, and cost optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Composer, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and experience working with data scientists on model development or deployment.
