Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Java Developer with 4–6 years of experience in backend development using Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be proficient in unit and integration testing, and demonstrate expertise in debugging and root cause analysis. Experience in Linux environments is essential, and familiarity with modern front-end and backend technologies is a plus.

Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.

Design and implement robust unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirement clearly and define & deliver new features.

Work in Linux environments for deployment, debugging, and performance tuning.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root cause analysis.

4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development.

Strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful API development.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Proficiency in unit testing (JUnit, Mockito) and integration testing.

Experience working in Linux environments (command-line, scripting, troubleshooting).

Strong debugging skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.

Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience with React.js and TypeScript for front-end development.

Exposure to Kotlin for backend services.

Basic Linux administration skills (user management, networking, system monitoring).

Experience with containerisation tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
