As a Database Quality Test Engineer, your main responsibility will involve utilizing a UBS custom-tailored application deployment framework (EUPS) to deliver Application Releases into the enterprise environment. These releases are typically packaged as AppV, Numecent, or MSI packages. You will be tasked with delivering new or updated application releases that cater to over 100,000 users and more than 20,000 physical machines. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will work locally within a team of up to five individuals in India and also collaborate remotely with team members in Switzerland and the USA. Your primary objective will be to ensure that the support of Application Deployers in the team and custom database solutions operate smoothly with reliable updates. Additionally, you will occasionally participate in application deployment tasks and run complex tests over the application deployment framework PostgreSQL Database and Front-End client (WebUI and fat Client). It will be essential for you to document solutions at both an engineering level and a user level, while also providing support for stakeholders and users. Troubleshooting application deployment issues will also be part of your responsibilities, including working on the Support Queue. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in writing complex SQL Queries, with a preference for PostgreSQL. A solid understanding of SQL Relational Databases is crucial for success in this position. Being an organized individual with a keen attention to detail and quality, along with possessing good communication skills, will further enhance your ability to excel in this role.,
