Role & responsibilities

Frontend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and product teams to build seamless user experiences.
• Convert UI/UX designs into high-quality, clean, and scalable code.
• Optimise applications for maximum speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Implement reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Work with APIs to fetch, display, and manipulate data on the client side.
• Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend issues efficiently.

Required Skills & Technologies

Core Technologies:

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript

Frameworks/Libraries:

• React.js, AngularJS, NextJS, or Vue.js (React preferred)
• Redux, Context API, or similar state management tools

Styling & UI Frameworks:

• Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Material UI, or similar

Build & Version Control:

• Webpack, Vite, Babel (basic understanding)
• Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design
• Basic understanding of SEO principles
• Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues
• Understanding of accessibility (A11y) best practices

Good to Have

• Experience with Next.js or SSR frameworks
• Experience working with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS / GCP)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer
