Field Service Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Field Service Engineer with strong technical knowledge of industrial pumps. The ideal candidate will handle installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pumps across client sites throughout India. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on field expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service, and troubleshoot a wide range of industrial pumps at customer locations.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues related to pump systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and feedback after each visit.
• Provide on-site technical support, training, and guidance to customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams for spare parts, technical queries, and after-sales support.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company quality standards.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and represent the company professionally at all times.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in servicing industrial pumps or rotating equipment.
• Strong understanding of pump mechanics, hydraulics, and industrial service operations.
• Hands-on experience with installation, alignment, vibration analysis (optional), and pump troubleshooting.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent problem-solving and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good documentation and reporting capability.

Travel Requirement

• Must be willing to travel 15–20 days per month across India for service assignments.
